Aalto University is a public university located in Espoo, Finland. It was established in 2010 by the merger of the Helsinki University of Technology, Helsinki School of Economics, and University of Art and Design Helsinki.

This close collaboration between science, business, and arts foster multidisciplinary education and research. It is deemed one of the best universities in Finland for international students. Besides, Aalto takes its name after Alvar Aalto, a prominent Finnish architect, designer, and alumnus of the former Helsinki University of Technology.
