Established in 2007, Ambrose University College came about through the merger of Alliance University College and Nazarene University College. Moreover, the college takes its name in honor of Saint Ambrose. In 2014, the institute dropped the 'College' from its official name. In addition, the college shifted to its 40-acre Calgary campus to accommodate students. Today, the university educates over 900 students on its grounds in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
