Leeds Beckett University 

Leeds Beckett University (LBU) is a post-secondary institution in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Prior to then, it was known as Leeds Polytechnic and then Leeds Metropolitan University (LMU). It has campuses in both Headingley and the city center. The Leeds Mechanics Institute came into existence in 1824, which is when the university's founding can be documented. Began in 1970, Leeds Polytechnic was a component of the Leeds Local Education Authority until 1 April 1989, when it split to become a separate Higher Education Corporation. The organization became accredited as a university in 1992. In September 2014, the present name was chosen.

1.1) City Campus:

This includes several areas on the northern side of Leeds's city center, primarily between the Inner Ring Road and the campus of the University of Leeds. Several buildings have also been bought lately in addition to the former Polytechnic campus.
