Swansea University History

Formerly the University College of Swansea, Swansea University was established in 1920 in Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom. At its opening, the college was amongst the youngest colleges in Wales. In addition, in 1923, the art programs of the institution shifted to the Mount Pleasant site. Moreover, the mid-1900s saw the university inaugurate new faculties.
