Originally the Luther Academy, Luther College Canada was established in 1913 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The college started with only 32 students in its first class. The college had its first female admittance in 1920. In addition, the institution shifted campuses in 1920 to a larger campus in Regina. Moreover, initially, the college was affiliated with the Saskatchewan University till 1968, and later, inaugurated a new campus in collaboration with the University of Regina in 1971.
