The University of Queensland (UQ), also known as Queensland University, was founded in 1909 in the Brisbane city in Queensland, Australia's capital state. It has since grown to become one of ’s largest academic research institutes, and the outstanding University of Queensland Courses have the university regarded as one of the finest Australian universities for overseas students.
