Eligibility criteria

The student must: Have Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status or hold a valid study permit at the time of starting the program; Have submitted a new application for admission to a regular science or engineering study program, 2nd cycle (master's with dissertation) or 3rd cycle, for the summer or fall session; Be registered full-time (12 credits or more) or be “deemed full-time” during the scholarship award period; Be under the direction of a member of the FSG faculty; Not be the recipient of an ESSOR scholarship or a scholarship from a funding agency (CRSNG, FRQNT) or any other major scholarship ($10,000 or more) intended for graduate students.
