Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for Beijing Foreign Studies University Chinese Government Scholarship 2026-2027, applicants must: Have a Bachelor’s (for Master’s) or Master’s (for PhD) degree Be under 35 years (for Master’s) or 40 years (for PhD) Be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid ordinary passport Provide HSK or IELTS scores (unless exempt) Hold strong academic records and good conduct Be physically and mentally fit, and law-abiding.
