Eligibility criteria
This scholarship is open to both future PhD students and current students in the first year of their PhD, who meet PhD entry requirements and have a financial commitment from their proposed advisor to provide a living stipend top-up to the UQ minimum stipend rate. Current students can use their original offer of admission in their application and will need to apply through CSC (follow the CSC dates). To apply for this scholarship, you must: be a citizen and permanent resident of the People’s Republic of China; be eligible to receive an Australian Student Visa; satisfy the selection criteria set by the CSC; satisfy UQ’s admissions entry requirement and be offered a place in the PhD program; and meet the University’s English proficiency requirement; and have a financial commitment for your proposed advisor to top up the CSC living stipend to UQ's minimum rate for the duration of your program.
