Eligibility criteria

The Dorothy Killam Fellowships are designed for early- to mid-career researchers who: Have typically completed their PhD within the last 15 years Are currently employed at a Canadian university or research institute Are conducting high-impact, innovative research Align with the values associated with the Killam legacy: Inclusive Collaborator – Engages across diverse communities and perspectives Barrier Breaker – Challenges conventional norms through forward-thinking research Research Leader – Builds partnerships and leads with academic influence Each year, between 5 and 8 fellowships are awarded based on the quality of applications and selection committee approval.
