First-Year Honors Scholarship
Scholarship Value
Recipients may receive either 50% or 30% off a portion of their tuition fees. These discounts can be applied upfront in full to either the first or second semester of the recipient's first year, or may be distributed across several consecutive semesters in the amount of 10% per semester. Funds are disbursed directly towards tuition fees and are not redeemable in cash.
Scholarship Information
Eligibility criteria
Outstanding undergraduate students entering their first year at AAU (transfer students are typically not eligible). Based on prior academic achievement and English language proficiency. Minimum GPA: 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent (e.g., Czech Maturita 1.5; A-levels ABB; IB 32). Minimum English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 94 or equivalent (e.g., IELTS 7; SAT ERW 650; ACT English+Reading 57; IB English A 5 at SL or HL; IB English B 6 at SL or HL; SCIO GAP 85th percentile).
