Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the NPU President Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements: Health Requirements: Must be in good physical and mental health without infectious diseases or conditions affecting studies. Academic Background: Undergraduate applicants must hold a high school diploma and be under 25 years old by September 1, 2025. Master’s applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and be under 30 years old by September 1, 2025. PhD applicants must have a master’s degree and be under 35 years old by September 1, 2025. Academic Performance: A minimum average score of 75% or above in previous studies. NPU also accepts SAT, ACT, A-Level, AP, IB, IGCSE, WAEC, GED, GRE, and GMAT scores. Language Proficiency: Must meet NPU’s Chinese or English language proficiency requirements. Nationality Requirement: Open to non-Chinese citizens with valid passports. Applicants who previously held Chinese citizenship must meet additional documentation requirements.
