Scholarship Value
100% tuition fee coverage (if applicable at the enrolled institution). Accommodation in SBW Berlin’s shared student flats in Berlin. Monthly living allowance (depending on individual needs). Travel allowance for the journey to Berlin and return to the home country after graduation. Full support for community project development during the study period.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following conditions to be considered for the 2026 intake of SBW Berlin scholarship: Age Requirement: Between 18 and 30 years old. Academic Requirement: Proof of good academic performance and university admission (or eligibility for admission) to a university in Berlin or Potsdam. Financial Background: Applicants should demonstrate that they come from a low-income household. Social Engagement: Applicants must show commitment to social or community projects (either in the past or through a proposed project). Residency Obligation: After graduation, recipients are expected to return to their home countries and apply the knowledge and experience gained in Germany.
