PhD window: Doctorate completed within five years of July 1, 2026 Applicants who will defend by end of May 2026 are eligible (award contingent on successful defense) Ineligible if PhD conferred before July 1, 2020 Appointment status: Not open to those holding a tenure-track position Alma mater: U of T graduates/candidates are eligible Citizenship: Open to all nationalities Disciplinary scope: “Humanities” broadly conceived (includes interpretive social science, political theory, music, arts) with a demonstrated track record in Digital Humanities, especially critical DH and commitments to open-source/open access.
