International Onshore Merit Scholarship

Eligibility criteria

You're eligible if you: are an international student. have previously undertaken a qualification in Australia which has been used for admission to your relevant UQ program. have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester. And you: have applied to study full-time at UQ commencing in 2026 in an eligible program. Check the scholarship terms and conditions (PDF, 170 KB). have received an unconditional offer in an eligible program (or have satisfied all the conditions of a conditional offer) have satisfied the program entry and English language proficiency requirements. And you have not received: received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ. a full scholarship or sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships or sponsorships may be considered).
