Eligibility criteria
Eligibility: Under 35 years of age (as of April 1, 2025). Non-residents of Japan from countries with diplomatic relations with Japan. Master’s Programs and Five-Year Ph.D. Programs: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Three-Year Ph.D. Programs: Master’s degree or equivalent. Specific eligibility criteria apply to individual scholarships. Check the GRIPS website for detailed information.
