Eligibility criteria
The Motian Scholarship specifically welcomes applicants holding passports from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam. TJU aims to nurture global talent, and this program is built to support young students under 25 who demonstrate strong academic potential, good conduct, and readiness to embrace life and study in China. Applicants must possess a high school diploma and meet the language requirements depending on whether they apply for a Chinese-taught or English-taught program. Language Proficiency Requirements Chinese-taught programs: HSK-5 (≥180) or HSK-4 (≥180) English-taught programs: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80 Exemptions apply to native speakers and students educated in the language of instruction.
