Scholarship Value
Value: 100,000 CZK (approx. €4,100) per student. Payment Schedule: 1st instalment: Within the first month of the Autumn semester, after opening a Czech bank account and updating details in the IS system. 2nd instalment: Mid-December, conditional on meeting study program requirements and remaining enrolled at MU.

Eligibility criteria
Must be a newly accepted student into a full-time Bachelor's or Master's program taught in a foreign language at Masaryk University. Must be a citizen of one of the priority countries chosen according to the DAC List of ODA Recipients (developing countries). Applications from non-priority countries might also be considered but are less favored. In response to strategic management decisions, the Newcomers' Scholarship has undergone a conceptual update. The selection of eligible countries aligns with MU's international marketing strategy, aiming to strengthen our university's global influence and embrace diversity. Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Georgia, Kosovo, Malaysia, Mexico, Montenegro, Peru, Philippines, Serbia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam Must demonstrate a very good academic record from previous studies. Proof of financial need and/or belonging to an oppressed minority, asylum seeker, or refugee status (unofficial documentation not accepted).
