Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health with excellent academic standing. They must not hold any other Chinese scholarship concurrently. Master’s Degree Applicants: Must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age. Doctoral Degree Applicants: Must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years of age. Language Requirements: For Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 5 (minimum 180 points) or degree from a Chinese-medium university. For English-taught programs: TOEFL ≥ 80, IELTS ≥ 6.0, or proof of English-medium education.
