Eligibility criteria
To qualify for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria: Academic & Age Criteria Be under 23 years old by September 1, 2026. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent by September 1, 2026. Maintain a minimum average score of 75% or higher. Be capable of academic research and critical thinking. Health & Nationality Requirements Be in good physical and mental health. Be a non-Chinese citizen holding a valid foreign passport. Former Chinese citizens must have obtained foreign nationality before April 30, 2022, and must have resided abroad for at least two years between 2022 and 2026. Applicants with one or both parents of Chinese nationality must provide legal proof of their own foreign citizenship. Language Proficiency Depending on the medium of instruction, applicants must meet one of the following: Medium Required Certification Chinese-taught programs HSK Level 5 (180 or above) English-taught programs IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in each band), TOEFL 80+, Duolingo 115+, or Cambridge FCE (≥169), CAE (≥180), CPE.
