Eligibility criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria: Hold a Master’s degree in literary studies with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 1.50, in exceptional cases, according to the German grading system). Demonstrate language proficiency: one language (German or English) at C1 level and the other at B1 level. Additional foreign language skills as per the PhD study regulations. Must not have resided in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of nomination. Must have graduated within the last six years (exceptions apply). Applicants holding a PhD are not eligible.
