Provost's Winter Entrance Scholarship (international students)

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for this scholarship(s), students must: Be an international student (i.e., on a valid study permit) admitted to a degree or diploma program for the Winter term. Be registered in at least 12 university-level credits in the Winter term as of the first day following the add/drop deadline in January. Have achieved an admission average on courses used for admission to a program within one of the scholarship ranges. Limitations, Clarifications, and Notes: This scholarship may be awarded a maximum of one (1) time in an individual’s lifetime. Students in university transfer or certificate programs are ineligible for this scholarship. Should there be any dispute regarding this scholarship, final decisions rest with MacEwan International in support of the intent of the scholarship. If there are more qualified students than funds available, scholarships will be awarded beginning with the highest averages until funds are exhausted. International students are automatically assessed for eligibility; there is no application process. University Preparation (high school) or English as Additional Language courses and Math 099 are not university-level credits. The number and value of scholarships will vary based on available funds and eligible students. The admission average/AGPA scholarship ranges and amounts for this scholarship are: 85-89.99% or AGPA of 3.70-3.89 - Provost's Scholarship - $3,000-$5,000 Minimum value will be the initial offer value. Subject to the availability of funds, some scholarship values may be increased based on admission average/AGPA. Students may also be awarded additional funds based on priority programs and priority countries.
