QUT Excellence Scholarship (Creative Arts)

Eligibility criteria

You must: be starting university for the first time in 2026 have not undertaken/commenced any tertiary study, other than studies in special university programs designed for secondary school students (e.g. START QUT) have applied for a tertiary place through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) and received a QUT offer in your first preference have placed one of the eligible creative arts courses as your first preference on your QTAC application at the time of the main December and main January admissions offer rounds: CA01 Bachelor of Creative Arts CA02 Bachelor of Creative Arts (Acting) ID49 Bachelor of Creative Arts / Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) ID57 Bachelor of Education (Secondary) / Bachelor of Creative Arts ID58 Bachelor of Creative Arts / Bachelor of Laws (Honours) ID59 Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Creative Arts You must also be one of the following: an Australian citizen or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder an Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand citizen, or international student who has completed Year 12 in Australia. For acting you will be considered based on your acting audition. For animation, visual arts, creative writing, drama, film and screen, and music you will be considered based on your academic and creative excellence during your school studies. Preference may be given to Indigenous Australian applicants. If you're interested in a course that isn't eligible for this scholarship, you may be eligible for the QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic) instead.
