While the standard international tuition fee at UMa for Master's degrees is generally €2,000.00 per year (for 2025/2026), the "concurso" for CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries) nationals and Venezuelan nationals typically offers an even further reduced fee. The exact reduced value is published in the specific public notice for each application phase.

Eligibility criteria
Must be an international student (i.e., not a Portuguese national, not an EU/EEA national, not having legal residency in Portugal for more than two years continuously, etc.). For the specific tuition reduction at UMa, you must be a national of a CPLP country or Venezuela. Hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent legal qualification) recognized in Portugal. Meet the specific academic admission requirements and prerequisites for the chosen Master's program. Demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction (often Portuguese, but some programs or units may be in English).
