Scholarship Value
A monthly stipend of EUR 1,300, A travel allowance based on the country of origin, A combined health, accident, and liability insurance, A study and research allowance of EUR 460 per year, Additional rent and/or family allowance, if applicable, The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, contingent upon successful academic progress.

Eligibility criteria
To be considered for the DAAD GSSP scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements: Hold a master’s degree in life sciences or an equivalent field. Have an excellent academic record. Demonstrate proficiency in English. Must not have resided in Germany for more than 15 months before the time of nomination. Should not have graduated more than six years before the time of nomination (exceptions apply as per DAAD guidelines). Must not have completed a PhD previously.
