Eligibility criteria

• You do not have a German (dual) citizenship, • You have acquired your university entrance qualification abroad, • You are enrolled at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences with the aim of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree, • You are confronted with special challenges during your studies, e.g.: Care for children up to the age of 12 in your own household; first and second degree relatives in need of care in Germany; degree of disability of at least 50% or chronic illness; refugee background; • You are in financial need, • You are staying in Germany during the funding period, • You do not receive any further funds from domestic or foreign bodies for the same purpose.
