Scholarship Value
Covers full tuition fees and provides a maintenance allowance (approx. £20,000). Includes allowances for the Immigration Health Surcharge, visa fees, and one return flight. Scholarships are generally tenable for one year unless the program duration is two years. Cannot be held alongside other scholarships, studentships, or bursaries.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet all the following requirements: Be at serious risk as a direct result of armed conflict, or displaced within the last three years and seeking international protection outside the UK. Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate. Come from a lower-income background (as defined by UCL’s income guidelines). Not hold a qualification at the same or a higher level than the Master’s program applied for. Hold an offer of admission for a full-time Master’s program at UCL by early June 2025. Note: Applications from individuals already residing in the UK or EU are not accepted. Special provisions exist for asylum seekers, refugees, or those under Ukraine visa schemes through alternative UCL scholarships or student finance.
