Eligibility criteria
If you’re based in Africa and planning to study in the UK, you may already be closer to qualifying than you think. To be eligible for the Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship, you must: Be a citizen and currently residing in an eligible African country. Have applied to the University of Dundee for a full-time, on-campus course starting in January 2026. Hold an offer of admission from the University of Dundee. Be classified as an international fee-paying student. Be enrolling in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program. That’s it—no complicated extra hurdles, no separate scholarship essays, and no long application forms.
