Eligibility criteria

General Requirements: Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport and demonstrate friendliness toward China. Must be physically and mentally healthy and have no criminal record. Chinese language proficiency: Bachelor’s programs: HSK Level 4 or above Master’s programs: HSK Level 5 or above For Current Degree Students: Full-time undergraduate students at WYU under the age of 40. At least one year of study completed at WYU. High academic performance, good behavior, and compliance with Chinese laws and university rules. Must not have received other scholarships for the same academic year. For New Degree Students: Applicants must meet specific academic qualifications based on the degree level: Bachelor’s: Under 30 years old, high school diploma, and recommendation letters. Master’s: Under 35 years old, bachelor’s degree, and two recommendation letters. Doctoral: Under 40 years old, master’s degree, and two recommendation letters.
