Eligibility criteria
This opportunity is open to international applicants from all countries, provided they meet academic and language requirements. Applicants should: Be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid passport Be in good health and have a clean legal and academic record Hold a Bachelor’s degree to apply for Master’s programs (generally under 35 years of age). Hold a Master’s degree to apply for PhD programs (generally under 40 years of age). Meet language requirements depending on the program: Chinese-taught programs require HSK Level 4 or higher English-taught programs require IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 90 or an equivalent qualification. Submit a detailed study plan or research proposal of at least 1,000 words Provide two academic recommendation letters from professors or associate professors. Applicants must also meet the academic entry requirements of Yunnan University for their chosen program.
