Intake sessions

South African universities open their fall term admissions from January through July each year for students to apply. Classes usually commence in September. Students participate in classes from February until November in South African universities through two semesters that coincide with May-June application periods and August application deadlines. Expansion programs at universities operate with two possible enrollment periods: a spring admission for winter term studies during July in addition to a January admission for summer program enrollment.
