MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP (MIS) 2026

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria for their applications to be considered further: 1. Is not more than 40 years old at the time of application for Master’s degree. 2. Is not more than 45 years old at the time of application for PhD level. 3. Possess good academic qualifications: i. Master’s applicants: obtained a CGPA of 3.00 / 2 nd Class Upper (Honours) or higher at the bachelor’s degree level; ii. PhD applicants: obtained a CGPA of 3.00 / excellent results at the Master’s level in courses related to the intended PhD study program 4. Good proficiency of English Language: i. IELTS band 6.0 or higher; or 4 ii. Total score of 550 or higher in TOEFL paperbased test (PBT) or equivalent score in other TOEFL tests; or iii. Has obtained previous degree(s) with English used as the medium of instructions (must submit an official declaration by the university). 5.
