What is OUAC?

OUAC is the official central platform used by all public universities in Ontario, Canada, to process undergraduate applications. Students can apply to several universities through a single site, streamlining the process for both domestic and international students. Applications are accepted through OUAC at more than 20 Ontario universities, including York University, the University of Waterloo, and the University of Toronto. The system safely sends your applications to each university, compiles transcripts, and confirms your information.

How It Works

Create Account

Visit ouac.on.ca and create your OUAC account. This profile will work as your personal dashboard throughout the application process.

Add Colleges

Choose from 20+ Ontario universities, explore different programs, and add them to your application list. Each student can apply to multiple programs within or across universities.

Fill Details

Enter your personal information, academic history, and program choices. For international applicants (OUAC 105), upload your educational background, grades, and language test details.

Write Essay

Some universities require supplemental essays or statements of purpose. Use this section to share your goals, motivation, and why you're a good fit for your chosen program.

Upload Documents

Submit your academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE), reference letters (if required), and other supporting documents.

Submit & Track

Pay the OUAC fee (CAD $156 for three program choices and CAD $50 per additional choice). Submit your completed application and check updates, offers, and deadlines through your OUAC dashboard.
