What is Uni Assist Germany??

A single portal called Uni Assist (University Application Service for International Students) handles applications for more than 180 German universities. By confirming that your educational background fulfills German university requirements, it functions as the initial checkpoint for overseas students. You upload documents to Uni Assist once rather than sending them to each university individually, which makes the procedure quick, easy, and globally recognized. Following the verification of your documents, Uni Assist provides you with a VPD (Vorprüfungsdokumentation) to submit to the universities of your choice.

How It Works?

Create Account

Visit uni-assist.de and create your personal profile.

Add Colleges

Browse from over 180 Uni Assist member universities across Germany and select the institutions and programs you want to apply to.

Fill Details

Enter your personal information, academic background, and language proficiency details accurately. Make sure all qualifications match your official documents to avoid delays.

Write Essay

Some universities may require a motivation letter or a statement of purpose. This is your chance to explain why you want to study in Germany.

Upload Documents

Upload officially certified copies of your academic transcripts, degree certificates, language test results, passport copy, and, if applicable, APS certificate. If your documents aren't in German or English, include certified translations.

Submit & Track

Pay the Uni Assist processing fee (€75 for your first application and €30 for each additional one) and submit your application. Uni Assist will process your documents and issue your VPD (Pre-Review Documentation) once verified.
